Today i will write a review on a comic strip series by Stephen Pastis ,"The Pearls Before Swine". I have read many treasuries of this strip and almost every one of them makes me laugh off my chair. Today i will give a compiled review of 4 books including 2 treasuries.
First is the treasury "Sgt. Piggy's Lonely Heart Club Comic ."
This treasury is the compilation of the first two years of this comic strip through which we get to know how the characters developed from an ugly looking rat to the "Don't mess with me Rat" and from the dumb pig to the dumber pig. The treasury is very funny as Pastis used all his jokes in the initial years but even now it feels as if he isn't out of jokes. With the introduction of new characters like Pigita and Farina who are the girlfriends of Pig and Rat respectively adds extra comedy to this series. For a start i give this book a easy three and a half out of five.

Second is the book "Nighthogs"

Nighthogs is a very dark book i.e. the book conveys to us the real Rat. Every joke has something to do with Rat being cruel and beating up people. I don't have much to say but if you want to start reading this strip i suggest you start from this book. I give it a three out of five.

Third is the book "Ratvolution will not be televised"
This was my first Pearls book which was gifted to me by my dad's friend. When i first read it i thought of it as a very funny book but only after i read the rest did i get to know that it wasn't as great as the others but still good. The title and the cover is very catchy. Some people may have other views over this book saying that is is very god but i didn't like it so much. So i give it a two and a half out of five.
