Everyone has at least heard about this international Bestseller. Just like that the news spread to me making me read this heart touching novel by the great author Paulo Coelho. The book not only teaches us that to achieve or goal but also to believe in dreams and every dream can come true. With a very deep message this book also tells us how some people work hard just to turn his dreams to reality. With a pinch of fantasy(alchemy to be specific) Paulo makes the book even more gripping. The book is a mix of Magic, Dreams, Love, Belief and Faith in a perfect ratio due to which you will never get bored.
An interesting part of the story is that the protagonist Santiago's name is only mentioned in the first line of the book - "The boy's name is Santiago." After this the name of the boy is never mentioned and is always referred as "the boy". I don't know if this has happened to everyone who has read this novel but i can't still forget the first and the last line of the book which are-
"The boy's name is Santiago."
